Just couldn't bear seeing this forum empty. :) I'll post something a bit more substantive soon as I have a little time.

Empty? It didn't even exist until a few minutes ago, at least on my system.

There was a slow down a little while ago, was that when it was created?

Empty would be appropriate for this ancient, archaic technology

    Viva la surround!

Dude, I mean sir, you put my MUSIC ONLY IB in some cheesey HT sub  forum. Ruining forever my only opportunity ever to be the first poster in this area. I have to say, I'm highly mildly upset and insulted :p.

Please do the right thing and put it here where it belongs.

Stereo is good. My best sounding system ever was two channel, no sub. It just came together and was magic. So I'll support stereo. But if some one starts talking crap about how good vinyl is and how it is better etc. this new board will lose all credibility.

Vinyl is good, real good. :)

You know the proper saying is Tubes Rule!

I could not agree more. And since this is my first post I will choose not say "better".
  11. When Larry says stereo rules, he is talking about his home theater. :)

If 2 is good, 5 (or more) must be better.

And what's all this silliness about analogue. What could possibly sound better than spitting up the music into 44,000 parts every second!!

Hey, I can remember when the record store had the vynil separated into "mono" or "stereo" sections!
  14. I can remember waiting outside the door of the record store, on the day they got their truck, to grab a 45 copy of Petula Clarks Downtown before it sold out. :)

It is amazing to me that my daughter now likes that song because of some credit card commercial.... ;)

I keep checking this thread for the rules of 2-channel, but so far I haven't seen any. I may be doing it all wrong and not even know it.

You and I both. I was just finally in the mood to do something about it.

I will post the rules as soon as I decide on the proper definition of a 2-channel system. I'm especially struggling with whether or not a popcorn machine is necessary.

The first rule of 2-channel is, you do not talk about 2-channel!
