I'm going to finish this up here since all the old stuff will be lost, and the good stuff will be happening now anyway. Lamination begins tomorrow, and while that stuff is clamped and drying the plate amp will be mounted. It was a choice of closet mounting it out of sight, building a box to mount it under the HT center ( there's a stud right in the middle of that area, and plumbing for the bathroom sink too), or somewhere else. It's too cool looking to hide away and a box, naah. Al suggested under the wing of the blue note, and that's where it will go. Pics coming.

I wonder when it will stop feeling weird posting here, even though lots of friends are here?

    Artie,

I can't wait to see what you say about it all! Remind us again what drivers you are using.

Probably take more than the 2 posts you've got so far.

I'm glad you'll be finishing this up where we will be able to refer to it down the road, your projects are always cool.

What made you choose the Q drivers over the SSD drivers?

Do you know what Scott does to the drivers to make them better for IB use?

Another question; did you order your amp yet?

Because of this one line in the blurb for the various drivers.

I asked Scott that exact question by e-mail and he said:

The amp arrived yesterday. It's purty :)

So, does Al enjoy the work assignments you give him? Looks like a typical "get the job done right, hang the mess, it clean up later..." :)

He's diggin' as much as me I'd say. He has come up with lots of good ideas, he's not one who leaves it at the office, so to speak. Plus, we're becoming friends.

    Thank you Dr.
