I'm going to get my g-tube AND trache changed today. Two hour ambulance ride each way, stuff ripped out and jammed into me in between rides, joy! Hopefully uneventful...

Arg, that sucks. There's no way to do this in home? :(

The doctor performing the procedure mapquested the quickest route from the hospital to the golf course, and sadly, Artie's house was along the way. ;)

I hope the procedures go smoothly and with minimal discomfort. Please let us know when you're back home and resting comfortably.

Oops! I thought the subject title said "G-Lube" ... nevermind. I have nothing to offer to this thread. :(

Like others, I thought I was going to see some hot pictures, and was disappointed. To make matters worse, the post is about your suffering. I hope the change goes as well as possible for you, Artie!

I'm back and OK. It WAS a minor nightmare though, hardly uneventful. Gotta sleep, tell you about it later. Thanks for the good thoughts. Nice to see you Chad! Zzzzz...
