Just wondering is anybody just waiting to see this and getting really anxious to see the defenders?

I haven't made it through Luke Cage yet. I didn't dislike it, but it didn't demand that I finish another episode right now like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. I should finish it and watch Iron Fist.

I can't argue with you on Luke Cage. Yes o liked it a bunch but it did not have me built up from me ep to the next til near the end while DD and especially DD season 2 did. With Jessica Jones it took me a few eps to get that way.

Iron Fist is a favorite of mine though in recent stuff that my kid watches on TV they kind of gave him a surfer sound and persona while in the comic books he was closer to a Bruce Wayne type.

    Yes and Yes.

I found CJ's reaction to Luke Cage to be my reaction to Jessica Jones. Like Daredevil, I got caught up in Luke Cage pretty much from the first episode. Maybe it was because I binged watched Luke Cage.

While I remember reading Daredevil comics as a kid / teen, I don't recall ever reading Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist comics. I've still enjoyed all of the series and expect that to continue with Iron Fist and The Defenders.

Cage was alright but it was very different than Daredevil and Jessica Jones and I found it a struggle to finish it.

I've enjoyed them all so far, probably Jessica Jones the most. And though not anxious for this one, I am looking forward to it.

I really enjoyed Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. It's Daredevil that I've had trouble getting thru and I still haven't finished it.

Wow... so many differing opionions. I would rank them best to worst as DD S1, JJ, DD S2, LC so far.

This one drops on Friday but I won't get to start watching it till saturday.

Their was a 6 episode preview for some critics and they have not been kind. It seems it might be a disconnect between fans and critics and the star is saying that when they filmed it, it was before Trump won and that the lead character being a billionaire in the age of Trump might be disturbing some people.

For better or worse late Friday or early saturday I will start the adventure.

Yeah, I know I am getting really nervous as this is one of my favorite Marvel characters. The trailers don't look so bad as to support anywhere near that low a score. Something must be amiss.

Ok I am truly confused at this point. I have watched 6 eps so far and I am totally enjoying it. Now I admit to being a fan of the character, but really I can't see any way this thing could warrant a 15% on RT. It makes no sense at all. I mean I could see maybe some not liking it but 15%?

Whatever I have some shit to accomplish today but hope to come home this evening and get a bunch more of it in. Hoping that he winds up in something close to the comic book suit.

Well, critics can be just that, we'll need to wait a few days to see how the general public feels about it. I'm going to turn it on now and give it a go.

Story is stupid at times, Danny just seems way too naive, I mean he knew enough to get fake documents to get into the USA, but everything else he's like "why are you treating me this way?". The Martial Arts are pretty weak and unconvincing, especially for a Martial Arts specialist...

    But I'm still watching.

I'm seeing more positive reactions towards the series on Twitter from viewers, not critics. I'm three episodes in and it still has my interest. The show is not bad at all.

Ok I finished it last night. It maybe the weakest of the Netflix series, however not 15% weak. They went a little overboard attempting to make Danny look like the Cluless kid he was when he left.

Overall I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to defenders, and am wondering if we will ever see a team up between Misty Niggt and Coleen Wing. :)

On episode 4 now, and the character of Danny is too inconsistent to be believable. Also still feel the fighting is weak.., especially for a Martial Arts based story. But there's enough intrigue to keep me watching.

Also, the main players, like Joy, 25 years old(?), are too yong to be holding the positions they have within the company.

I do like all the tie ins they've been making, some subtle mentions others much more obvious, but it's more than I recall seeing in the other series.

This isn't in the same league as DareDevil or even Jessica Jones but it held my interest and nicely sets up Defenders.
