My oddly twisted kid has decided that he wanted a Polaroid and it seems his sister is going to make it happen.

She is planing to give him a polaroid 600 and I figured I would get him some extra carts for the thing.

a 3 pack of carts each with 8 shots runs like $75

How odd that a digital age kid could want this stuff.

    Congrats, you have a hipster.

He'll have fun with it... way to be supportive.

I initially overlooked this thread so I'm late here. My 13 year old daughter had to have one of these which became her birthday present this past Fall. I cringed at the thought of her burning through a bunch of film and that ongoing expense. I don't think she's used up the first batch that we gave her fortunately.

I'd love to see an alternative approach to this. Instead of a Polaroid camera, a small Polaroid-like photo printer that you simply connect to your digital camera (phone) to print. That could be USB or even WiFi. Then no wasted "film" on bad images. Just print the ones that appear worthwhile.

Noah has been careful about burning through his film.
