Speakers like Thiel PowerPoints?

    Most custom installation companies have aimable tweeters in their line. Look at Sonance, Polk, Speakercraft etc,,,

    Thanks, Buzz. I've seen the Polks and others with aimable tweeters. Know any with a directional woofer like the PowerPoints?

    Look at the AIM series from Speakercraft. Honestly I am not sure how important being able to swivel the woofer is and I have heard some pretty reasonable arguements against it...

    Fair enough. Honestly I haven't shopped around that much but an additional item I noted was that for my particular configuration, the tweeters on the Polks don't swivel nearly far enough. So I thought another configuration where they are more direct would work. Heck, I might end up buying just regular speakers and hanging them. I don't know, just evaluating options.

    Yep, Sonance is good stuff. I use them for my surrounds (but not the in-ceiling versions.)

    Yeah, Sonance were the first company to really push built in speakers effectively.
    Some of their new designs are really quite aesthetic as well.

    Dustin,
    Polk had a new line of in ceilings that were angled into the ceiling as opposed to the typical flush mount. To say the difference I heard was startling is an understatement.

    Do you know the line of Polks? I'm surfing the site but I don't find a product matching the description you've given.
