Sweet. I couldn't live without Costco.

Ok, maybe a slight bit of hyperbole there but I do love Costco. :)

Things tend to come to the Midwest a few years after they are common in the rest of the country. Life is slower there. I saw "Gone With The Wind" on the big screen. In 1971. :)

I shouldn't remember this but I do anyway. There was an episode of the old "Petticoat Junction" tv series (or it might have been "Green Acres") where they were all excited that "Ben-Hur" was finally coming to the Hooterville local movie house. At the end, it turns out that they were getting the silent Ben-Hur from 1925, not the 1959 version.

I've always said that if Costco had a cinema and a hardware/lumber section I'd never have to shop anywhere else. Congrats CJ.

Lucky bastard. I have to drive 60 miles to get to the nearest costco....and I do it pretty frequently.

Well, I guess I'll have to go drown my sorrows looking at scantily clad women walking and tanning on the beach....5 minutes away.
