Good news for folks like me who have found it hard as hell to find legitimate (legal) copies of the CD!

    Michael-
that link you provided is a great behind-the scenes interview, but I'm still trying to figure out when/where I can get a legit copy of BOTH the Traveling Wilburys albums.

Have you found them in stores or online? If so, where?

Thanks, Michael. Ordered it, my first "contribution" to HTL!

Damn, I should have sold off my original CDs when they had collectible value. :(

I will have to pick that up as well, I love their music.

I purchased something from Amazon today too!

Don't forget that the Wilburys included an ex-Beatle. We all know how over-rated they were.

Oh, it's worse than that. I mean, Bob Dylan? He is a total no talent. And Roy Orbison did that crap version of of Van Halen's "Pretty Woman". Don't get me started on Jeff Lynne. Electric Light Orchestra was a total joke! That leaves Tom Pretty, that imitation MTV pseudo-rocker. Probably lip-syncs everything.

    Well he IS from Gainsville.

    ;)

That would be "Gainesville". Or as we know it, Donovan's reef.

I hope Van Halen sues Roy's estate. Tom Petty should be ashamed of himself, who does he think he is? Ashley Simpson? I think GNR should also sue Dylan for doing Knocking on Heavens Door before them, and I guess Warren Zevon as well.

    BTW...

This is now on my "Father's Day" wish list. :)

Well it's all right, even if they say you're wrong
Well it's all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's all right, as long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's all right, every day is judgment day

Below is a quote from an un-named web site. The author clearly has no clue as to who can really sing. Thank God for Axl and David Lee!!

6:06:07 Roy Orbison, Chris Issak, Raul Malo, Michael Buble' and Mel Torme all walk into a bar that is having a karaoke night. Damn! I wish I was there...what a fricking experience that would be. Listen to any of these velvet voices to see what good singing is all about.

I bought a real copy off of eBay about 4 years ago. Still, I will buy this one for sure!

I bought a copy off of EBay that said it was real.

It had a pretty good look to it, but I have a feeling it was a "fake".

Pretty sure my vinyl editions from 20 years ago aren't bootlegged - one advantage of being old :)

You'll win most bar bets with this: Only two artists ever had two Top 5 albums posthumously - Elvis and Roy Orbison.

just got this email from Amazon.com:

"We are sorry to report that the following item is no
longer available from our supplier. However, we have learned that a
substitute is available under a different Item number."

I followed the link, and I can't tell the diference between the "substitute" and my original order. But I have to "re-order" to get the "substitute".

    Anyone else have this happen?

    Hmmm... not sure.

I hope to get this tomorrow for Father's Day and may have some SKU info!

So the limited edition is already in short supply after the first week?
